Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Her breakout role as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. Her most notable movies are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to reports, she is working on a project with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who wrote Immortals on an adaptation to Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
