Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was raised in Italy as her father worked in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The mid-1990s saw her begin dancing and performing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Later she was in Minnesota, at a local theater, she was chosen to be a part of a mock film documentary on beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. After making her screen debut as a cute but serious contestant, she moved into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in the late 1940s when she was hired by MGM. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. In the 1960s, Leigh appeared in a variety of films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
